RackPac recognises that preservation of the environment is one of the key elements in our business’ activities in the design, manufacturing, sales and distribution of packaging products.

The Group are mindful of the effects that industry has on the environment that we live in and are committed in their quest to reduce its own environmental impact for the benefit of future generations. The Group has recognised that effective management of energy usage will play a significant role towards the company’s aim of reducing the environmental footprint of the business and also help to provide the controls and disciplines essential for the continued success of the business.

RackPac is produced by an established organisation who promote environmental protection activities and are making continuous efforts to contribute and maintain a safe environment, based on the general understanding that it is one of the fundamental corporate objectives to maintain, preserve and reduce our environmental impact for the benefit of a more sustainable future.

We have a continuous process of implementing, achieving and maintaining the following objectives:

  • we will comply with all applicable legislations, regulations and appropriate guidelines, including locally defined obligations that are specifically applicable to the business and all other requirements to which the organisation subscribes.
  • each manufacturing site will avoid the use of all environmentally hazardous or prohibited substances in order to reduce the negative impact of our activities on the environment.
  • we are committed to embracing environmental protection and sustainability strategies, therefore initiatives have been established to limit the impact on the environment; including energy saving, maximising recycling, minimising waste materials and efficient transportation strategies.
  • Maintain the established and effective environmental management system at each site that contributes to the promotion of environmental protection.
  • we shall provide continuous training to all employees with regards to the Group’s sustainable environmental practices, including notification of this policy. In addition, specialised training will be given to relevant employees as circumstances demand.
  • through continuously maintaining and improving its environmental management systems and protection activities, by understanding our environmental performance and taking appropriate measures in accordance with the results of environmental audits.
  • all objectives, policies and company performance in relation to our environmental activities will be communicated to employees, clients, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • ensuring that when designing packaging products, wherever possible materials are fully recyclable and material usage is kept to a minimum without compromising design, performance or protection of the product.
  • strive to be at the forefront of industry best practice with regards to environmental issues.
